September 25 is National Awareness Day, introducing the campaign”See Something…Say Something” that encourages people to be alert and report things that don’t seem quite right. By being alert and reporting suspicious activities to local law enforcement, you can protect your family, neighbors, and community including the Lab.
The Lab’s Site Security team is encouraging everyone to take two minutes to test their awareness skills in these video challenges. They are deceptive, so watch carefully!
So, how did you do?
And more importantly, what would you do if you saw someone placing a package on a public bench and walking away? Or leaving a backpack near a trash can? Trust your instincts. If it doesn’t seem right, it probably isn’t. Report the suspicious activity to local authorities, so they can determine if it’s harmless, or something more serious.
Did you miss anything?
How well did you pay attention in the “Toss” video? Did you notice that the “Enter” sign turns around? Or that the person in the food truck changes? If not, look again.
